General Description: Cutty’s Sunset Camping Resort is truly a full-featured RV park and campground. With 470 sites for both transient and seasonal campers, they offer everything from full-hookups to tent sites. The full-hookup sites offer both pull-through and back-in sites with 30 or 50 amp service. There are activities most nights of the week that include bingo, line dancing, and concerts. Amenities include a swimming pool, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, bathrooms, full restaurant and snack bar, country store, propane, and climate control laundrymat with lounge. Located within 30 miles of Akron, the campground is situated in the rural Ohio countryside.
Impressions:
1) While one of the more expensive campgrounds we have ever stayed in, you do get your money’s worth if you are into the amenities. The only disappointment was no free WiFi or cable.
2) The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom facilities were very modern and clean. The one close to our campsite was getting a fresh coat of paint while we were there. The only problem we had was with stopped up toilets the morning after their big concert held just outside the bathroom, but they had it cleaned up by the end of the day.
3) We were fortunate to be in the campground during one of their many concerts they have over the summer. We had an enjoyable evening listening to the country music of Amanda Jones that gave a mix of original and crowd favorite country tunes. A really good band!!
