Auburn area May 2013

Now that the house had been on the market for a couple of months and there was very little to do except keeping the house clean, Kal and I decided it was time to start visiting some of the local sites within a day’s drive from Auburn.  First up then was the Tuskegee Institute and Tuskegee Airmen which we visited on the same day on May 8.  I had never visited either of these National Historic Sites even though we live within 30 minutes of them.  It was high time we took care of that deficiency.  This was followed by a trip to Horseshoe Bend National Battlefield, which we had visited before but it had been years.
