Atlanta Georgia July 2013

What I remember most about July was the sense of frustration and anxiety that the house had not yet sold.  This meant we had the house on the market through the spring which is suppose to be the best time to sell a home in Auburn.  The house was not even being shown but 6 times over the past 5 months.  We decided on a strategy of dropping the price $1000 each week for the month of July to keep it on the realtors list of new activity.  To relieve some of this pressure we decided to make a trip to the President Jimmy Carter Library in Atlanta Georgia.  For anyone interested in American history, I would recommend a visit to all of the presidential libraries.  There is no better way to gain an understanding of the critical national and international issues of the time. I would certainly put President Carter’s Library near the top of the list for quality.  The grounds are beautiful and the museum is well designed and fascinating.  But then I enjoy museums in general anyway.
