1) This was the second time I have played this course with William, The last time was in the late summer and the contrast in the vegetation was enormous. In particular hole 15 is off a steep hill and across a small creek. In the late summer the hillside were a mass of vines at least 10 feet high leaving a bare tunnel to throw through. This spring the hillside was almost barren changing the hole dramatically and the creek was overflowing its banks onto the course itself.
2) Maybe the disc golf players are stronger in Maryland then in Alabama, but the holes are all a lot longer than the course in Opelika. Ven though they are still par 3 holes, I do well to score an average of 4 and one bad throw would easily make it 6 or 7 shots. Still it is a beautiful course with a wide variety of holes. Some are wide open and other are very tight with the vegetation.
