General Description: Yegua Creek Park is located on the shores of Summerville Lake near Summerville, Texas. The park offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities including fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, and camping. The campground has 82 sites of which 65 have electric (50 amp) and water hookups. Other amenities include bathroom/shower facilities and playground.
1) Yegua Creek is a very nice COE campground in south-central Texas with great views of Summerville Lake. All the campsites are back-in but most are not difficult to back into. There is a large herd of deer that frequent the park and will come very close to the campsites as they forage for food in the evenings and early morning.
2) The bathrooms are modern and kept very clean.
