General Description: Pickwick Landing State Park is located at the Pickwick Dam on the Tennessee River, 14 miles south of Savannah, Tennessee. Being on the lake above the dam, it is noted for its water recreation including fishing, boating, and swimming. Accommodations include an inn, cabins and camping. The park contains 1416 acres of forested hills and hollows. Visitors enjoy golfing, birding, picnicking, disc golf, and hiking. It is also closely located to Shiloh National Military Park.
1) All we took advantage of was the 2.8 mile Lake Loop Trail. Except for the lake being high in the spring causing a detour around a bridge that was underwater, it was a pleasant walk along the shores of the lake.
