Location: Creola, Alabama

General Description: As the name implies, I-65 RV Campground is conveniently located just off I-65 about a half hour north of Mobile, Alabama. Amenities include a small campstore, laundry, propane, and restrooms/showers. Sites include full hookups with 30/50 amps along with tent sites. There are a few pull-thru sites for travelers, but most of the sites are back-in.
1) This is an old RV park that has seen a lot of use over the years and could use some road and site maintenance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Most of the park is occupied by seasonal campers with just 8-10 sites for travelers, all of which are pull-thru sites. The RV park is primarily used by itinerant workers during the winter, as nearly all of the sites were filled by young men driving trucks for an electric company. Since they worked long hours every day, including the weekend, the RV park was quiet except for the noise from the interstate which is just a couple hundred yards away.
2) Like the rest of the RV park, the bathroom and showers were old and in need of an upgrade. However, they were cleaned periodically and were certainly not the worst we have seen.
3) While we would stay here again due to its proximity to the interstate, we would limit our stay instead of staying a full week in the future.
