General Description: Heritage Spring Campground is a family oriented park with activities every weekend for the entire family. Most of the park is devoted to seasonal campers, but they have a few sites around the edges for transient campers. All of the sites are back-in with full hookups on a gravel pad. Other amenities include a 3 acre pond for fishing and swimming, a pavilion used for bands and games, bathroom/shower facilities, laundry room, small country store, and propane.
1) Heritage Spring Campground is a very well maintained campground with a number of seasonal campers that come and go all week. Especially over Labor Day Weekend it was a very busy place with a lot of activities all weekend for both adults and children. Over 90% of the campground is for the seasonal campers, but there are a few very nice sites around the edges for transient campers.
2) The owners of the campground were extremely helpful, not only leading us to our campsite but using their forklift to park our RV when we had a problem making backing the rig into the site. We also met a couple of the seasonal campers over the weekend that were extremely friendly and made us fell welcomed.
3) The bathrooms were in need of a new paint job, but were modern and kept very clean even with all the use over the weekend.
