General Description: Located just outside Hohenwald, Tennesse, Fall Hollow Campground is right across US 412 from the entrance to the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is a small campground with 19 full-hookup sites. Amenities include a restroom/shower and easy access to their barbecue restaurant that serves excellent food Thursday-Sunday.
1) This is a very small campground with less than 20 sites, most on grass and dirt. All sites have full hookups, although the sewer hookups are at the extreme back end of the sites which made it a challenge to hook up the sewer line. In addition, most of the sites are occupied with either seasonal or full time residents leaving only 4-5 sites for transient visitors.
2) The staff at the campground were extremely friendly, even assisting me in backing into our site. We also met a number of the full time residents who were all very friendly and helpful. The bathroom facilities were locked with a entry code to access, but were kept clean and fresh.
3) The main drawback to the campground was that TV reception was non-existent with an antennae, however, access to the Natchez Trace was a major draw.
