General Description: Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground is located just a mile from I-65 and offers all the advantages of being close to a major town. The campground is a medium sized campground with all the amenities nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of town. Most of the sites are pull-through with full hookups including cable and wireless internet. Other amenities include swimming pool, catch-and-release pond, playground, restrooms, laundry facilities, and propane.
1) Being so close to I-65 and a major town, we were surprised by how quiet the RV campground was. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with houses on both sides, but you would hardly know it from your campsite. You could hear the interstate as a constant background noise, but it was not disturbing. We had a corner pull-through site, so we had plenty of room out the front of the RV. However, many of the sites offered little room between the RVs. Barely enough room for a picnic table.
2) The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had an issue with their cable connection. We never did figure out what the problem was as it worked fine when they came to look into it and functioned as needed the rest of the week. The internet connection was solid, for the most part, but slow, especially over Memorial Day weekend.
3) The bathrooms were modern and kept clean and tidy.
