Schuylkill River Trail

General Description: The Schuylkill River Trail is a multi-use trail in Southeastern Pennsylvania with a projected length of almost 130 miles when complete. There are currently over 60 miles of finished trail along the river utilizing old railroad beds and bridges.

Impressions:

1) The only part of the trail we explored was a couple of miles starting outside of Auburn, Pennsylvania.  This trail is along an old railroad bed so the grade is very gentle and level with stream crossings over steel railroad bridges.  It was a very easy trail used by the locals for biking and walking their dogs.
